Studies and paintings from a week-long trip to Dungeness in summer 2024 with a group of artist friends. It was so stunning it was almost too difficult to work out what to paint from the plants, the landscape, the structures – even the tomato-red rubbish from fisherment was beautiful. However, it was the looming nuclear power station with its ever-present hum and strange bonging sounds over the night air that I kept returning to.
